Killion to be the next US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to be the next ambassador, on their website.

On Tuesday June 23rd HP Ireland announced the 2009 Ireland winners of the Innovation in Education Grant Initiative, which rewards universities and secondary schools across EMEA for their innovative teaching and learning projects. This year’s Ireland winners were NUI Galway and Coláiste Iognáid, Galway.

The Worldwide Universities Network has announced a new Chief Executive Designate, Australian medical scientist, Professor John Hearn.
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) is a consortium of 16 research universities spanning North America, Europe, South East Asia and Australia. WUN is devoted to supporting and funding research education and building and sustaining research communities.
