WOMEN THRIVE IN HIGHER EDUCATION WORLDWIDE

The male dominance of the university system is on the decline as female graduates outnumber men in 75 out of 98 countries, University World News reported. According to Unesco’s 2009 Global Education Digest, the number of females in tertiary education sextupled between 1970 and 2009 with male enrolments quadrupling in the same period.
