Thirty engineering, medical and biomedical engineering undergraduate students from across Europe have been designing next generation medical devices at the Trinity Centre for BioEngineering at Trinity College Dublin as part of the European Society for Engineering and Medicine (ESEM) Summer School.

It was announced today that Britain is to have its first private university for over thirty years. BPP, which offers law and business degrees at fourteen sites across the UK, will be given university college status with immediate effect and be allowed to grant degrees in a limited range of subjects.

With the help of the World Computer Exchange, the online institution University of the People hopes to open communication centres in six developing countries over the next six months to allow students with internet access the chance to take courses completely tuition free, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education.

According to a recent study, graduate employment universities vary widely depending on the institution. The numbers of graduates in employment range from 100% at The School of Pharmacy to 74.4% at London South Bank University.
