Last week it was revealed that accountancy giant KPMG is offering a recruitment programme that could catch on in other professions and universities. The firm plans to help recruit new professionals in order to expand the accountancy profession, and to facilitate this is offering a study course that few students will find hard to resist.

A good degree from a good university is certainly important in today’s employment sector but students are realising more and more that there is often very little substitution for on-the-job training and experience.
