Following a week-long visit by Chinese envoys to Britain, which included a summit with British vice-chancellors and the Education Secretary Michael Gove, the first ‘Study in China Exhibition and Student Forum’ was held at the Institute of Education, University of London last month.

After yet more controversy and upset, students are once again taking to the streets of London to protest over education cuts and rise in tuition fees across England. They are also marching against the government white paper and the proposed ‘privatisation’ of universities.
