As 400 education leaders travel throughout China learning about developing Chinese language programmes in their schools as part of the fifth Chinese Bridge Delegation trip, the College Board today announced that applications for the 2010 Chinese Guest Teacher Programme are available.
A NEW ERA OF EDUCATION FOR IRAQI STUDENTS

A new two-part scholarship scheme has been introduced by the Iraq Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to help improve the education system, reports the Guardian. The first part of the scheme will aid Iraqi students in pursuit of a higher education overseas and the second part is set to improve the quality of further and higher education in Iraq.
