Having decided to raise university tuitions fees for British students, Britain’s coalition government has now turned its attention to international students. The government has unveiled proposals that recommend clamping down on international student visas and rights to work, which will be decided on at the end of January.

A new bridging course will soon be in place at the University of Toronto — which will offer training, work placement experience, career services and employment advice to internationally trained lawyers who want to practice law in Ontario.
