In the past week QS has unveiled the global rankings for life sciences and medicine courses. Titled the 2011 QS World University Rankings by Subject, the list ranks the top 100 Medicine, Biological Science and Psychology courses around the world.

Professor Andrew Hamilton, BSc, MSc, PhD, FRS, has taken up post today, ahead of his formal installation on Tuesday 6 October as the 271st Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford.
