WHY THE USA?

The USA offers international students a vast range of choices when it comes to institutions, courses and locations. It also offers world-class qualifications and is the number one destination for international students studying abroad.

Reputation

The USA has an international reputation for good-quality education and some of the best universities in the world. A qualification from an accredited US institution will be recognised around the world.

Choice

There is a huge amount of choice when it comes to institutions and courses in the USA. There are over 4,000 accredited higher education institutions in the country, offering programmes in almost every field of study imaginable. Each will be in a different environment, from rural communities to large cities.

Diversity

With such a huge number of international students, along with residents from all over the world, the USA is a diverse and multicultural country. Plus, every region of the USA has its own regional culture, history and traditions, making it an exciting place to live and explore.

Academic life

US higher education tends to value flexibility and creativity. Many courses will allow students to try lots of different subjects in their first year before choosing a specialisation. Classes tend to be small and encourage discussion and participation in debates. Professors often have a close relationship with their students and may hold one-to-one meetings, meaning you will receive a personal approach to your education.

Campus life

US campuses tend to have many clubs and organisations, and may also offer trips and excursions, allowing you to experience US culture and practise your language skills with other students, whilst making friends and having fun during your free time.
